Job summary

Methodist Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Representative to provide clinical support under physician or APP guidance. You will perform routine clinical procedures, educate patients, and document in health records as required by your certification.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma and graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program; national/registered MA certification and BLS are required. Minimum 2 years’ MA experience in a practice is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide healthcare services to patients under the instruction of the Physician or APP.

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant/Patient Representative will be able to provide healthcare services to individuals as instructed by the Physician or APP. The Medical Assistant will perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, enter appropriate documentation into patients’ health records, and perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of their certification.
