Certified Medical Assistant (Front Desk & Clinical Support) – Primary Care Clinic – Charlotte, NC
Contract | Full-Time | Weekdays Only

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a contract assignment at a well-established employer-sponsored health clinic located in Uptown Charlotte, NC. This clinic serves employees and their families (ages 2+) in a patient-centered, team-based setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver both front office and clinical support services within a primary care environment.

Location: Uptown Charlotte, NC (corporate campus)

Schedule:

Mon–Thurs: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Fri: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Duration: 6 weeks (06/30/25 – 08/08/25), with potential for extension

Setting: Primary Care Clinic

Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

Front Desk Duties:

Answer phones and greet patients ("teammates")

Schedule appointments and manage check-in/check-out process

Process payments and support referral coordination

Clinical Duties:

Room patients and assist with provider support

Perform high-volume phlebotomy and lab draws

Process specimens for lab pickup

Work in the onsite lab and maintain accurate documentation in EPIC

Requirements:

Active CMA certification required

1+ year experience in a primary care or family medicine setting

Strong proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records

Proven phlebotomy experience with comfort in high-volume lab settings

Ability to manage both administrative and clinical tasks with professionalism and flexibility

Additional Info:

Parking is not provided. Monthly rates are approximately $198.50 for the first month and $178/month thereafter. Lower-cost options may be available in nearby decks further from the facility.
