Job summary

MultiCare Rockwood Clinic in Airway Heights, WA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join our patient-centered team. You will support physicians and APPs, manage patient flow, take vital signs, prepare for exams, and assist with procedures.

The role requires WA MA-C certification, BLS, and provides a $7500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Schedule is 3x12s M-W with 4 hours on Thursday, Day shift.

Qualifications

• WA MA-C license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow in coordination with front office staff.
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist patients in exams or treatments and collect specimens (venipuncture).
• Administer medications per Washington DOH regulations and competency.
• Relay instructions to patients and families; ensure records and referrals are prepared.

Work situations require performance of safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the MA-C. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
