Job summary

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking Certified Medication Technicians to provide safe, high-quality medication administration and resident care oversight in our assisted living and memory care community. This part-time position offers flexibility across all shifts to support our residents.

Responsibilities include maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation, promoting residents' rights, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must have a State Approved Medication Aide course and test.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience as Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to work in a team in a senior-care setting.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive working relationship with residents, family members and staff.
• Promotes and protects residents rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and education programs and obtains continuing education required by state regulations.
• Demonstrates the ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintains professional appearance by adherence to community dress code.
• Documentation is completed in an informative and descriptive manner.
• All changes in a resident’s condition are reported as soon as possible to the supervisor.
• Work schedules and assigned tasks are completed in accordance to the established policies and procedures of the community.
