Job summary

Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Visalia, California, seeks a Massage Therapist to deliver Swedish massage and related therapies, while ensuring a welcoming experience for members and guests.

You will design personalized treatment plans, support a clean and relaxing spa environment, and contribute to growing our member base through referrals and memberships. Training on additional modalities is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to state licensing laws and regulations.
• Must carry liability insurance.
• Knowledge of Swedish Massage; other modalities are a plus and training is provided.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, spa management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Design specific treatment plans based on clients’ needs.
• Create an excellent guest experience with a friendly, helpful attitude.

Job Requirements

• Must adhere to state licensing laws and regulations.
• Must carry liability insurance.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, spa management and staff.
• Knowledge of Swedish Massage required.
• Knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Deep Tissue), but not required. Hand and Stone offers training in all modalities to our team members!
• Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
