Hand & Stone - Meridian is seeking a dedicated massage therapist to join our women-owned spa. You'll create personalized treatment plans for clients, ensuring they have an excellent experience. The role requires adherence to licensing laws, effective communication, and knowledge of Swedish massage, with opportunities for continued education in various modalities. Qualifications

• Must adhere to state licensing laws and regulations.
• Must carry liability insurance and pass a background check.

• Knowledge of Swedish Massage required.
• Preferred knowledge of various modalities like Neuromuscular and Deep Tissue.

Job Responsibilities

• Design specific treatment plans based on client’s individual needs.
• Create an excellent experience for members/guests through a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Generate new clientele by promoting member referrals and memberships.

Job Requirements

• Must adhere to state licensing laws and regulations.
• Must carry liability insurance and pass background check.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, spa management and staff.
• Knowledge of Swedish Massage required.
• Knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre‑Natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue), but not required. Hand and Stone offers training in all modalities to our team members!
• Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
