Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Certified Massage Therapist & Spa Therapist to join a tranquil wellness center in Welkom. You will provide therapeutic massage and holistic spa treatments to promote relaxation, pain relief, and well‑being for clients.

The ideal candidate has a valid massage therapy certification, proficiency in multiple modalities, strong palpation and communication skills, and a commitment to hygiene and ethics. Experience with body wraps or scrubs is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Massage Therapy certification from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in multiple massage techniques and understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent palpation skills and the ability to adapt techniques to individual client needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and hot stone therapies.
• Assess clients to tailor treatment plans and identify contraindications.
• Develop personalized plans addressing pain relief, relaxation, or recovery goals.
