Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Rocklin, CA is seeking a Certified Marine Service Technician to perform service and warranty repairs on boats, motors, trailers and ATVs. You will diagnose, repair, and test propulsion and electrical systems and install accessories, while maintaining excellent customer service.

Starting pay range is $29.84–$35.11 per hour with full-time benefits and ongoing training. This role requires physical labor, the ability to work outside, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School education; ongoing classes toward higher level manufacturer certification or equivalent experience.
• Ability to understand electrical systems and wiring.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electrical problems on boats, motors, trailers and ATVs.
• Installs accessory items as required.
• Water tests units with customers to verify work and explain operation.
• Attends technical training to improve proficiency and certification.
• Maintains a clean, professional work area and performs rigging as needed.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
