Prairie Band Health Services needs a Mammography Technologist to provide services in the Mammography Suites at Heart Butte Health Station located in Heart Butte, MT 59448.
General: BFSU has a state‑of‑the‑art mammography Suite that was built in 2019. Efforts are underway to certify the mammography Suite and obtain Certified Technologists to bring Mammography services in house.
Duties and responsibilities consist of providing Mammography services and to operate specialized X‑ray equipment to produce high‑quality images of breast tissue, allowing doctors to accurately diagnose breast conditions by performing mammograms, which includes preparing patients for the procedure, positioning them correctly, and ensuring optimal image quality while adhering to radiation safety guidelines; they also need to maintain and troubleshoot the equipment and may assist with patient tracking and record keeping.
Additional duties and responsibilities may be added at any time. Employees are required to follow any other job‑related instructions and perform any other job‑related responsibilities as requested by their supervisor.
Prairie Band, LLC is subject to Title 22: Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. In accordance with Title 22, this position is designated as a TIER 2 position. Preference will be given to individuals to the extent required pursuant to Section 22‑2‑4(B).
