Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in breast imaging to perform Mammography, DXA, and interventional procedures with patient-centered care and strict privacy. The role emphasizes high-quality imaging and compassionate interaction with diverse patients.

You will prepare Digital/DXA equipment, assist Radiologists, document QC, and strive to keep repeat rates below the national average while complying with MQSA and ACR guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
• Licensed in the state where work is performed.
• Maintain CEU's as required by State & National levels.
• Mammogram Certification required within 1 year after orientation/training.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Perform Mammography, DXA and interventional breast procedures.
• Prepare Digital and DXA equipment for QC tests.
• Assist Radiologist in interventional breast procedures.
• Obtain high quality images and minimize radiation exposure.
• Maintain QC books for all rooms and track repeat rate.
• Assist Clinical Engineering and PACS when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
