Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver patient care under physician and RN supervision in accordance with established guidelines. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to clinical standards within a supportive, growth-focused environment.

The position requires completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program, or equivalent clinical experience, and appropriate certifications such as BCLS and CMA/NCMA where applicable.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma preferred; MA/Nursing Assistant program required or equivalent experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program; or completion of Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and
• Graduate of an accredited an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required
