Job summary

Furnitureland South, Inc. is seeking a Lift Truck Operator to store received furniture in racks and maximize space. The role includes scanning products for inventory, loading/unloading shipments, and staging items for shipment.

You will operate a lift truck, use hand trucks and dollies, and maintain safety and organization in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Training leading to a Certified Driver certificate is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to obtain Lift Truck certification.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet.
• Able to lift heavy objects for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Store received product in racks and maximize space.
• Scan products to enable inventory tracking and cycle checks.
• Load/unload trucks and stage furniture for shipment.
• Move items using hand trucks, carts or dollies.
• Ensure safety equipment is functional and maintain clean work areas.
• Attend required training and contribute to team goals.
