Role Description

The Certified Lifeguard will ensure a safe and enjoyable aquatic environment by monitoring swimming areas, enforcing safety rules, responding to emergencies, and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Monitor swimmers and water activities vigilantly for signs of distress or unsafe behavior.
  2. Identify hazards, enforce safety rules, and take corrective actions.
  3. Respond promptly to emergencies, perform rescues, administer first aid, and CPR as needed.
  4. Communicate safety information effectively to water users and team members.
  5. Document incidents and report safety concerns to management.
Qualifications
  • Certified lifeguard through a recognized organization (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA).
  • Current CPR/First Aid/AED certifications.
  • Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
  • Ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
