Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard certification with CPR and First Aid required.
• Minimum 1 year lifeguard experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and motivation.
• Competent lifeguarding and chemical testing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and staff with exemplary service, a smile and empathy.
• Ensures safety of all swimmers using advanced life guarding skills.
• Supervises each participant and enforces aquatics policies professionally.
• Educate participants in aquatic safety policies across all pool areas.
• Professional conduct is required at all times with members or staff.
• Inspects aquatic areas to keep deck dry and obstacle-free.
• Test water chemistry in all pools and adjust as needed.
• Maintain accurate water testing and attendance records.
• Report all incidents or injuries promptly.
• Store all equipment safely and in proper location.
