TheArmed / Level 3 Security Officerposition helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to aclient’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.

Position Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Calm, polite, and professional behavior.
• High level customer service.
• PSR evaluation required.
• Military, law enforcement or armed security experience preferred.
• Certified Level 3 Guard Card in good standing.

Typical Job Duties:

• Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• Responding to emergency situations where rapid and effective judgment, appropriate escalation and use of force may be required.
• Working directly with law enforcement, government staffing and the community.
• Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.
• Security screening all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering facilities.
• Monitors surveillance cameras.The ability to utilize a tablet, computer, or smartphone.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers
