Job summary

Thelen Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Kia is seeking a Certified Automotive Technician to join a family-owned dealership that values its technicians. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across our vehicle brands, diagnosing electrical, mechanical and powertrain systems, using advanced diagnostic tools, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

This role emphasizes pride in craft and team-based success.

Qualifications

• ASE or state certification is required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities across electrical, mechanical, and powertrain systems.
• Ability to communicate repair needs clearly to customers and service staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across vehicle brands.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and powertrain systems.

What You’ll Do

As a Certified Automotive Technician, you’ll play an important role in keeping our customers safely on the road. Your day may include:

• Performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across our vehicle brands
• Diagnosing electrical, mechanical and powertrain systems
• Using advanced diagnostic tools and specialty automotive equipment
• Identifying issues and recommending the right repairs
• Communicating repair needs and recommendations with customers and service advisors
• Delivering quality workmanship you can be proud of
• Working as part of a team that takes pride in doing things the right way
