Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
• Valid Michigan teaching certification/licensure with grade-level endorsement.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning and assessing educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans based on standards.
• Develop assessments and monitor student performance through tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curricula and participate in professional development.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and events to contribute to the mission of Crescent Academy.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students; communicate with students, parents, and staff.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
