Job summary

The Goddard School – Charlestown is hiring certified Infant Teachers to lead classrooms for babies and toddlers with support from co-teachers. The role emphasizes curriculum, safety, and nurturing care in a premium educational environment.

We offer competitive pay ($24-$29/hr), a $2,000 signing bonus (if certified at hire), full-time year-round employment, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) with employer match. Flexible schedules are available.

Qualifications

• Certified by MA EEC for Infant/Toddler
• 1+ year experience in a licensed childcare center
• Background check and fingerprinting required
• Knowledge of child safety and first-aid protocols
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable, team-oriented, and flexible
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and move safely
• Capable of working any required 9-hour shift between 7AM-6PM
• Attend monthly staff meetings (typically Tuesday, 6-8PM during holiday weeks)
• Able to hear, see, speak, and move effectively around a childcare environment
• Capable of responding to emergencies and handling crisis situations involving children
