Job summary

LR Management seeks a Certified HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems at multi-family properties across Southeast Michigan.

Qualifications

  • HVAC certification required (EPA Section 608 Certification)
  • Valid HVAC license or certification as required by state/local regulations
  • Minimum of 3 years HVAC installation and service experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
  • Excellent communication, organization and customer service skills
  • Experience with commercial HVAC systems
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems, boilers, chillers, and building automation systems
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience using mobile service management software

Responsibilities

  • Travel to communities across Southeast Michigan.
  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment and systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and longevity.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes and company standards.
  • Complete work orders, service reports, and required documentation accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repairs and recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, as required.
