Laura Lynn's Home Care is an award-winning, family-owned home care agency based in Oklahoma City. We are currently looking for dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Certified Home Health Aides and Long Term Care Aides to provide in-home care assistance to seniors and individuals with disabilities to maintain their independence by assisting with activities of daily living. As a CHHA or LTCA with our agency, you will build meaningful relationships while making a positive impact within your own community.

We are currently hiring for part-time and full-time weekday and weekend positions.

Your Role :

  • Build meaningful relationships with clients through friendly visits and conversation
  • Assist with activities of daily living
  • Provide personal care services like bathing, grooming, dressing
  • Assist with meal preparation, medication, light housekeeping
  • Monitor and document changes in condition
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments
  • Transport clients for errands and social engagements
  • Provide companionship, safety supervision
  • Enable clients to remain independent in their homes

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be a CHHA or CNA with a valid certification through the state of Oklahoma
  • Must have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Pass state required background check
  • CPR certification
  • Negative TB test within the last 12 months
  • Ability to lift, push, and / or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Proven experience in personal care and / or home care
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor

Salary Description

13 - $18 / hour
