CHHA/Home Health Aide Job Requirements:
  • Home Health Aide License (New Jersey)
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be certified to apply
Job Description for the HHA/Home Health Aide:

All services shall be provided and performed in accordance with the scope of practice for Home Health Aides in the State of New Jersey.

  • Adhere to the established client care plan.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, ambulation, and exercises.
  • Prepare patient special diets if necessary and measure intake and output as needed.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in the care of the patient.
  • Complete daily activity records and accurately document the care provided.
  • Capable of providing an aide within 48 hours of receiving a request.
