As a home health aide with Gurwin Health Care Agency, you must be a Certified Home Health Aide in NY and committed to delivering quality care that helps clients stay safe at home. Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor vital signs and communicate changes to medical staff.
• Offer emotional support and companionship.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in NY.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Available to work at least 35 hours/week, including every other weekend.
• Legal to work in the United States.
• Fluent in English (spoken and understood).
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Completion of NY State Health Department-approved HHA training or equivalent.
• Basic literacy and arithmetic skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
