We're seeking Certified Home Health Aides in various locations within Suffolk County, New York to provide exceptional in-home care. As a home health aide with Gurwin Health Care Agency, you must be a Certified Home Health Aide in NY and committed to delivering quality care that helps our clients remain safe at home. Duties

• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in NY.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Able to work at least 35 hours per week, including every other weekend.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Fluent in English (speaking and understanding).
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
• Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Completion of NY State-approved HHA Training Program or equivalent.
• Basic literacy and arithmetic skills.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
