Job summary

2nd Family is seeking caring CNAs and PCAs to join our team across multiple NJ locations. You will support clients with non-medical home care, personal care, and companionship, following care plans and ensuring safety. Training and POE verification are provided as needed.

Ideal candidates have CHHA licenses in progress or CNA pursuing CHHA, with reliable transportation and willingness to travel 10–30 miles. Weekend and on-call shifts are required, CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• CHHA license in progress or CNA willing to get CHHA license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation with current insurance.
• Able to travel 10–30 miles to cases.
• Available for 2 weekend shifts per month (Sat, Sun).
• Must be able to work 1 evening shift each month.
• Must work 1 ON-CALL SHIFT each month.
• Current CPR certification.
• TB test results and MMR immunity.
• Physical exam within last 11 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care, personal care, companionship, and homemaking.
• Follow care plans and communicate with RN 24/7 as needed.
• Assist with daily activities, mobility, and safety in the home.
