Qualifications

• HHA certification in New Jersey.
• CHHA certification in New Jersey preferred or required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, reliable and dedicated to providing excellent care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health to the care coordinator.
• Follow individualized care plans with compassion and respect.
• Ensure client comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
