Job summary

Fox Trail Memory Care Living in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide compassionate daily care in boutique memory care homes.

You will assist with ADLs, meals, mobility, health monitoring, companionship, activities, light housekeeping, and safe transfers, reporting changes to the Community Director.

This full-time, daytime role offers a steady schedule and the chance to make a meaningful difference for residents.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey CHHA license required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
• Monitor basic health status and report changes to the Community Director.
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and reassurance to residents.
• Lead or assist with engaging activities and social interactions.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe, comfortable home.
• Safely assist with resident transfers and mobility as needed.
• Support a safe, nurturing environment that meets residents' physical and emotional needs.

What You’ll Do

Required Qualifications

• Ability to lift and support up to 75 lbs for resident transfers and mobility assistance

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in memory care, assisted living, or senior care
