Job summary

Home & Health Care Management is seeking Certified Home Health Aides to provide in-home care in Chico and surrounding counties. Part-time or per-diem roles with potential for full-time work, serving an interdisciplinary team to help clients remain in the community.

Requirements include CA HHA certification, valid CA driver’s license, reliable transportation, TB test or chest X-ray, and a clean background check. Wage ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Certified Home Health Aide training completed and CA HHA license holder.
• Experience with patient care and ADLs preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain timely duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care, meals, mobility and daily activities.
• Perform duties accurately and notify office of any abnormal findings.

You are a Certified Home Health Aide in California who is interested in working with an interdisciplinary team of health professionals helping individuals that have transitioned from a hospital to home care setting and assisting them to remain in the community You enjoy helping clients achieve their personal goals of remaining in the community. You want to work with a team that inspires professional growth and share our priority of providing quality case management and home health care to the community.

Note* This is not a position for Caregivers, or Registry Aides. We are accepting applications from Certified Home Health Aides who have completed training as a Home Health Aide and received the necessary license issued from the State of California.

Responsibilities:

• Assists patient with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation, and other activities as needed
• Performs duties as assigned in an accurate and timely manner
• Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions

Experience Required:

• Patient‑interaction skills
• Experience with ADLs
• Experience with Hoyer Lifts
• Ability to multi‑task and perform duties in a timely and orderly manner

Essential Requirements:

• Completed an approved Home Health Aide training course and received Certification as Home Health Aide from the State of California
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Eligible to be insured under our liability policy with a clean DMV report
• Reliable transportation
• Proof of current auto insurance
• Negative TB skin test or chest X‑ray
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment criminal background check
• Current CPR certification

PPE is provided to all employees

Service Region/ Location:

This is not a remote role and requires you to work out of the Chico office seeing patients in Chico and Butte County and in surrounding counties.

Schedule:

Part‑time or Per‑Diem work - Ranges from 2‑29 hours per week, hours may vary. Strong possibility of full‑time work in the next 90 to 180 days.

Travel:

You will need to travel to client’s homes within the Chico area and surrounding counties.

Compensation:

$23.00 - $25.00 / hour.

Physical Requirements:

Conditional upon job offer is successfully passing a medical exam that tests amongst other things the ability to move, visual acuity, and hearing acuity. Physical requirements for this role specifically include:

• Sits, stands, bends, lifts, walks, and moves intermittently during working hours
• Able to lift to 50 pounds without assistance
• Able to drive intermittently
