A leading home health care provider is seeking experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) caregivers to assist seniors in their daily activities. We are seeking a highly experienced CHHA capable of handling various client conditions, including but not limited to dementia, combative clients, Hoyer lifts, transfers, incontinence, meal prep, etc. This position requires filling in for same-day call-outs. Effective communication and detailed documentation about clients are essential.
Compensation is $20.00 per hour. Service areas include Warren, Morris, and parts of Essex Counties.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited CHHA program and hold current state certification.
CHHAs will work under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) and direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. They are responsible for assisting clients with activities of daily living, including personal care (dressing, bathing) and instrumental activities of daily living (light housekeeping, meal prep, etc.).
CHHAs are expected to notify the DON of any significant changes in the client's condition.
