CHHA Needed

We are seeking a highly experienced CHHA capable of handling various client conditions, including but not limited to dementia, combative clients, Hoyer lifts, transfers, incontinence, meal prep, etc. This position requires filling in for same-day call-outs. Effective communication and detailed documentation about clients are essential.

Compensation is $20.00 per hour. Service areas include Warren, Morris, and parts of Essex Counties.

Additional Requirements:

• Reliable transportation
• At least one year of experience working with seniors in a home setting
• Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills
• Two references
• Proof of a TB test taken within the last year showing clear results
• Ability to pass background checks
• Certified Home Health Aide certification

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited CHHA program and hold current state certification.

Position Summary

CHHAs will work under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) and direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. They are responsible for assisting clients with activities of daily living, including personal care (dressing, bathing) and instrumental activities of daily living (light housekeeping, meal prep, etc.).

CHHAs are expected to notify the DON of any significant changes in the client's condition.
