Job Summary: Senior Helpers, a leading nationwide provider of in-home senior care services, is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide to join our team at Senior Helpers in Brick/Manchester/Toms River/Whiting, New Jersey. This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical field, with a hourly rate, paid biweekly. As a Certified Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and quality care to our senior clients in their homes. Responsibilities:

• Provide care and assistance to senior clients in accordance with their individual care plans
• Assist with medication reminders, grooming, bathing, and other activities of daily living.
• Monitor and report any changes in client's physical, emotional or mental condition to the supervising nurse.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for clients.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities to promote physical and mental stimulation.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families, as well as the Senior Helpers team.

Requirements:

• Valid New Jersey Home Health Aide Certification
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a home care or long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of basic personal care and hygiene skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and physically assist clients with mobility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
