Boost Home Healthcare is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to support patients in their homes in Warrenton, VA. You will provide personal and hands-on care, assist with daily activities, and help patients maintain independence in their own residence.

Ideal candidates have a CHHA credential, current BLS certification, and at least one year of healthcare experience in home health, hospice, or long-term care, plus reliable transportation to reach patients’ homes.

The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is a paraprofessional person who is specifically trained, competent, and performs assigned functions of personal care to the patient in their residence under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform personal care, bath and hands-on care as assigned.
• Complete appropriate visit records in a timely manner as per Agency policy.
• Report changes in the patient’s condition and needs to the RN.
• Perform household services essential to health care in the home as assigned.
• Ambulate and exercise the patient as assigned and assist with medications that are ordinarily self-administered as assigned.
• Perform simple procedures as an extension of the therapy or nursing services; e.g., range of motion (ROM) exercises as assigned
