Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Support clients with mobility and help facilitate physical activities
• Provide companionship and emotional support, ensuring clients feel valued and respected
• Administer medications as prescribed and keep track of clients' health status
• Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping and other household needs
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment through light housekeeping tasks
• Document care provided and communicate any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare team

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (CHHA)
• Experience in home care or healthcare settings is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy and a genuine commitment to providing quality care
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
• Must be able to communicate in English required
