Job summary

Addus HomeCare is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (HHA) to serve clients across Delaware. The role supports seniors and people with disabilities to live independently at home, following care plans and reporting changes in condition.

Applicants should have 75 hours of documented training, be 18 or older, and possess a high school diploma or GED (or one year in-home care experience). The position offers flexible hours, daily pay options, mileage reimbursement, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• HS diploma or GED or 1 year in-home care experience.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, meal prep).
• Provide routine home cleaning.
• Observe and report changes in client's condition as part of the health care team.
• Promote Addus HomeCare in the community.

If you have 75 hours of documented training from an accredited program, we have immediate openings.

Employment is steady and hours can be flexible to accommodate school, personal or family needs. With the recent growth of our office, Home Health Aides are able to work up to 30 hours or more a week. Newly graduated students welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan/service plan for the client and report on completed tasks

• As part of the client's Health Care Team, a Home Health Aide must observe and report any changes in client's condition


• Promote our positive image in the community as the leading home care provider
