Job summary

Addus HomeCare is hiring Certified Home Health Aides across Delaware to help seniors and people with disabilities live independently at home. Flexible hours, immediate work after orientation, and weekly pay with direct deposit are featured benefits.

With over 20 years of service in Delaware, we offer travel time and mileage pay, vacation pay for part-time staff, 401k options, and short commutes. Newly graduated students are welcome to apply and cases close to home.

Qualifications

• Must have 75 hours of documented training from an accredited program.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• High school diploma or GED or one year of in-home care experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan/service plan for the client and report on completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, meal preparation).
• Provide routine house cleaning.
• Observe and report any changes in client's condition as part of the health care team.
• Promote Addus HomeCare's positive image in the community.

We provide a range of services for seniors and people with disabilities so they may live independently in their own home.

If you have 75 hours of documented training from an accredited program, we have immediate openings.

Employment is steady and hours can be flexible to accommodate school, personal or family needs. With the recent growth of our office, Home Health Aides are able to work up to 30 hours or more a week. Newly graduated students welcome to apply!
