Job summary

Best Home Health Providers, Inc. is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide to provide compassionate, hands-on support in patients' homes across the Bay Area and beyond.

You will work under a Registered Nurse to assist with daily personal care, safety, and comfort, helping patients recover at home. The role is per diem with a pay rate of $30–$40 per visit, offering flexible scheduling and potential to convert to full-time based on performance.

Qualifications

• Active California Certified Home Health Aide credential required.
• CPR certification with AHA must be current.
• Valid driver's license and insured, reliable vehicle.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.
• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities per care plan.
• Support patients with meals—from preparation to feeding assistance when needed.
• Take and record vital signs as directed.
• Help patients with medication self-administration.
• Keep patient living space clean, safe, and orderly.
• Observe changes in condition and report to supervising nurse.
• Document care provided according to organizational standards.
• Perform other duties as required for patient services.

Responsibilities

• A Californian Certified Home Health Aide certificate
• Current CPR certification with AHA

• At least 18 years of ageAble to read, follow written instructions, and document care accurately
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
