Qualifications

• Active New Jersey CHHA license in good standing.
• Must be physically able to perform essential duties.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Provide at least two verifiable professional references.
• Provide verifiable employment history for past 12 months.
• Pass a national criminal background check (and NJ requirements).
• Health requirements: Negative TB test or chest X-ray, MMR, Hepatitis B or declination.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Support client independence while ensuring safety and well-being.
• Follow individualized care plans and document as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff.

Position Overview

We are currently building our pool of compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) who value personal growth, professional development, and delivering exceptional, client-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Support client independence while ensuring safety and well-being
• Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs and document as required
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff

All Shifts Available – Hourly Caregivers Needed

• Hourly Care: Starting at $19.50/hour
• Flexible Schedules: Full-time, part-time, or per diem (subject to shift availability)

Minimum Requirements

• Licensure: Must hold an active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing.
• Physical Ability: Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of this position.
• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
• References: Must provide at least two verifiable professional references.
• Work History: Must provide verifiable employment history for the past 12 months.
• Background Check: Must successfully pass a national criminal background check (including any additional screenings required by the State of New Jersey).
• Health Requirements:
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • Proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination
  • Proof of Hepatitis B or declination form
