Dharma Home Care in New Jersey is actively seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to join our caregiver pool. We value compassionate, client-centered care and offer ongoing training, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement.

Positions provide hourly pay starting at $19.50–$21/hour with instant pay, flexible full-time/part-time/per diem schedules, and work opportunities across NJ. Must hold an active NJ CHHA license and meet health and background requirements.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey CHHA license in good standing.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
• At least two verifiable professional references.
• Verifiable employment history for the past 12 months.
• Able to pass a national criminal background check.
• Health requirements: TB or X-ray, MMR vaccination, Hepatitis B vaccination or declination.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Support client independence while ensuring safety and well-being.
• Follow individualized care plans and document as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff.

Key Responsibilities

All Shifts Available – Hourly Caregivers Needed

• Hourly Care: Starting at $19.50/hour

Minimum Requirements

• Licensure: Must hold an active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing.
• Physical Ability: Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of this position.
• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
• References: Must provide at least two verifiable professional references.
• Work History: Must provide verifiable employment history for the past 12 months.
• Background Check: Must successfully pass a national criminal background check (including any additional screenings required by the State of New Jersey).
• Health Requirements:
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • Proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination
  • Proof of Hepatitis B or declination form
