Job summary

Qualicare Home Care Services is hiring Certified Home Health Aides/Caregivers to support clients in Paramus, Ridgewood, Fort Lee, Hackensack, and nearby Bergen County. You will provide in-home care under supervision, assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping, and document care.

Flexible shifts and ongoing training are provided to help you grow. We offer performance-based bonuses, advancement opportunities, and a supportive care team.

Qualifications

• Active NJ CHHA certification preferred for HHA positions.
• Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to travel throughout Paramus, Ridgewood, Fort Lee, Hackensack, and nearby communities.
• Reliable transportation and smartphone for scheduling/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care in clients’ homes.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Support mobility, transfers, walking, and approved exercises.
• Prepare meals and assist with basic nutritional needs.
• Perform light housekeeping and other household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with medication reminders, as permitted.
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition.
• Maintain accurate care documentation.
• Follow all client care plans and safety procedures.

Position Summary

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide certification preferred for HHA positions
• Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and respectful
• Understanding of basic caregiving, nutrition, hygiene, and safety practices
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, or willingness to obtain certification
• Current TB test or chest X-ray
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and all required pre-employment screenings
• Ability to travel throughout Paramus, Ridgewood, Fort Lee, Hackensack, and nearby communities
• Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling and care documentation; assistance and training are available
• Reliable transportation is strongly preferred
