Job summary

Caring Hospice Services in Edison, NJ, is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide to provide in-person patient care in home settings. You will follow care plans, assist with daily living activities, and bathe patients under RN guidance.

Requirements include CHHA training and NJ certification, plus 1 year of home health or hospice experience and English literacy. Driver's license preferred for travel between patient homes.

Qualifications

• Completion of approved Certified Home Health Aide training program.
• Certification as a Certified Home Health Aide in NJ.
• 1 year of experience in a home health or hospice setting.
• 1 year of full-time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility).
• A compassionate attitude toward the care of the sick
• Ability to read, write and carry out instructions in English
