Job summary

Caring Hospice in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Certified Home Health Aide to provide compassionate patient care in clients’ homes or care facilities. You will follow care plans, perform delegated tasks, bathe and assist with daily living activities, and promptly report changes to the supervising RN.

The ideal candidate holds an NJ CHHA, CHHA training, and at least one year of direct client care experience in health care settings, with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of approved Certified Home Health Aide training program.
• Certification as a Certified Home Health Aide in NJ.
• 1 year of experience in a home health or hospice setting.
• 1 year of full-time experience in direct client care in a hospital or nursing facility.
• A compassionate attitude toward the care of the sick.
• Ability to read, write and carry out instructions in English.
