Job Overview

Always Responsive Home Care is looking for Certified Home Health Aides to join our team! You will directly work with patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes or facilities.

You operate with a big heart, providing personalized and attentive care while building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs.

We exist to make sure you are supported and respected in order to provide the highest level of care. This is made possible by our attentive and caring coordinator staff who are available 24/7 to resolve any issues you may have.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
  • Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
  • Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
  • Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
  • Give medication reminders
  • Engage patients in exercises or other activities
Qualifications:
  • Certified Home Health Aide License in the state of New Jersey
  • One-year prior professional experience
