Job summary

Ambercare in New Mexico is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to provide in-home care for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This entry-level role offers flexible, part-time hours, comprehensive training, and the chance to impact lives while working in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training.
Satisfactory background check and valid driver's license.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Desire to compassionately care for others.
Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.

Responsibilities

Remind clients to take medication at the appropriate time.
Assist with therapy exercises under a Registered Therapist.
Provide personal care including hair care, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Assist with routine bodily functions and mobility.
Keep a safe, clean home environment and light housekeeping.
Provide companionship and accompany clients to appointments.
Observe and report changes in client condition.
