Job summary

Forefront Dermatology in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Histology Technician to prepare tissue specimens for dermatopathology review. This full-time role requires 3–10 hour days and may travel to Wauwatosa, Oconomowoc and Glendale Clinics to support operations.

The successful candidate will perform complex histology procedures, accession and process tissue, prepare slides, and ensure quality control while maintaining compliance with CLIA and company policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in life sciences or related field.
• Completion of NAACLS histology training program.
• HT ASCP certification or eligible to sit for exam within 1 year.
• CLIA requirements knowledge preferred.
• 2+ years histology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex histology procedures using a variety of techniques.
• Accession tissue specimens.
• Receive and prepare tissue specimens for processing.
• Prepare media, chemicals, reagents, and slides for staining.
• Quality control on slides and documentation in QA/QC logs.
