Job summary

Alvita Care is seeking compassionate, reliable Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides to cover Nassau County and surrounding communities on a per diem or ongoing basis. Certification issued in New York State is required, and onboarding must be completed before accepting cases.

Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling with minimum case length of 4 hours. We provide weekly pay, benefits, and a smooth onboarding process to get you started quickly.

Job description

Alvita Care is looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers for per diem and ongoing cases across Nassau County and surrounding communities. Facility or home care experience preferred.

You must hold a valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certificate issued in New York State. Please apply only if you are currently certified.

Pay: $19.65-$22.00/hour (depending on the case)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid NYS Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certificate required
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable, professional, and patient-centered
• Updated medicals/vaccinations (or willing to obtain)
• Own reliable transportation and valid driver's license a plus
• Completed drug screen or Habituation Form
• Must complete Alvita Care onboarding to accept cases

We offer both private-duty one-on-one cases and facility-based care, including per diem shifts. All applicants complete a phone screening to ensure a good fit for both caregiver and client. Cases are only available to caregivers who complete onboarding.
