Job summary

Central Coast Home Health, Inc. in Santa Barbara County is seeking a full-time Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our growing, locally owned team. The HHA will provide compassionate in-home care, assist with activities of daily living, and support the interdisciplinary team to promote comfort, safety and quality patient outcomes.

Schedule is approximately 8am to 5pm with weekend availability. Requires valid HHA certification, reliable vehicle, current driver’s license, auto insurance, CPR

Qualifications

• Valid Home Health Aide Certification is required.
• Reliable vehicle to drive for work.
• Current Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Auto insurance coverage required.
• CPR certification (Healthcare Provider).
• Home Health and/or Hospice experience preferred.
• Understands hospice philosophy and issues of death and dying.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor patients, report observations to the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care performed to promote quality, continuity and safety of patient care.
