Job summary

EVN Dialysis Center LLC is seeking a qualified dialysis technician to support nursing staff in preparing dialysis equipment and caring for patients in accordance with Center policies.

Responsibilities include routine dialysis treatments, safety testing, monitoring patient status, and maintaining equipment. Requires High School diploma, BLS, and mandatory hemodialysis certification (BONENT/NANT); English proficiency and prior medical experience preferred. On-site, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• English reading and speaking skills are required; bilingual preferred.
• Hemodialysis certification through BONENT or NANT is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine dialysis procedures including insertion of fistula needles and initiation/termination of treatments.
• Administer Heparin and Normal Saline as ordered.
• Conduct pre-dialysis safety tests and document results accurately.
• Monitor machine pressures and blood flow, adjust as needed during treatment.
• Make rounds to patients, respond to alarms, and document events properly.
• Maintain safety parameters on equipment and keep records up to date.
