The Hearing Aid Doctor, Inc. in Lakeville, MN, is seeking a Certified Hearing Aid Specialist to join our on-site team. You will perform comprehensive hearing assessments, including audiometry and speech tests, and tailor hearing solutions to individual needs.

You’ll fit and program devices, conduct adjustments and maintenance, educate clients and families, and document clinical findings in electronic records while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with hearing tests and audiometry, including conducting and documenting standard hearing assessments.
• Current certification or licensure as a Hearing Aid Specialist (or eligibility to obtain, according to Minnesota requirements).
• Ability to perform detailed technical work with hearing devices, including fitting, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Comfort working in an on-site clinical or retail hearing care environment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in maintaining electronic patient records.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Certified Hearing Aid Specialist role based in Lakeville, MN. The specialist will conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, including audiometry and speech tests, to determine hearing levels and recommend appropriate hearing solutions. Daily responsibilities include fitting and programming hearing aids, performing adjustments and maintenance, and educating clients and their families on device use and care. The role involves providing attentive customer service, documenting clinical findings, and maintaining accurate client records. The specialist will collaborate with other hearing care professionals as needed and follow all relevant clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with hearing tests and audiometry, including conducting and documenting standard hearing assessments.
• Demonstrated customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, patience, and clear, respectful communication.
• Current certification or licensure as a Hearing Aid Specialist (or eligibility to obtain, according to Minnesota requirements).
