St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Crestview Hills, KY, is hiring a Certified Hand Therapist in the Hand Therapy department. The OT will evaluate patients, develop goals, and implement plans of care, while providing education and home exercise programs.

Supervisory duties and ongoing compliance with ethics and policies are expected, with opportunities for career growth. The role is PRN, first shift, and requires an OT degree and state licensure, with potential to pursue CHT certification in Hand

Qualifications

• OT degree in Occupational Therapy (B.S., M.S., or O.T.D).
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of work.
• Commitment to pursue CHT certification if in Hand Therapy department.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, set goals, create and implement treatment plans.
• Provide OT treatment with patient/family education and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation according to standards and policy.
• Mentor staff and supervise ancillary personnel; report issues to leadership.
• Participate in PI and outcomes programs and attend department meetings.
• Follow ethics guidelines, regulatory guidelines, and department policies.
• Market services and maintain a professional image.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
