Job summary

Capstone Physical Therapy in Bellingham, WA is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to join our clinic. This role focuses on upper-extremity rehabilitation, evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, and ongoing professional growth.

The successful candidate will evaluate and treat upper-extremity injuries, develop individualized plans, provide manual therapy and splinting, document progress, and collaborate with referral sources and the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy (DPT/MPT) or Occupational Therapy (OTD/OTR) program.
• Washington State PT or OT license (or license‑eligible).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with upper-extremity injuries and conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
• Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, splinting, and patient education
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
• Communicate with referral sources, case managers, and the clinical team
• Participate in continuing education and specialty skill development
