Job summary

Golden State Orthopedics and Spine is seeking a Full Time Certified Hand Therapist to join our hand therapy team in California. You will work closely with referring physicians and senior therapists to deliver evaluations and treatments.

The role involves supervising COTAs, coordinating with physicians for patient care, and ensuring protocols are followed. We offer medical insurance, 401k and profit-sharing, paid vacation and holidays, and opportunities for internal mobility.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PT/OT program.
• Licensed in California.
• CHT or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform Occupational Therapy Evaluations.
• Perform Occupational Therapy Treatments.
• Direct patient care.
• Perform objective measures.
• Supervise with active participation of COTAs and non-licensed providers.
• Monitor patient progress and re-evaluate appropriately.
• Oversee clinical protocols and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with physicians and other practitioners for patient issues.

About the Role

• We are looking for a Full Time Certified Hand Therapist to join our team. As part of our hand therapy team, you will work closely with our referring Physicians and learn from our highly trained therapists. Our senior CHT’s are skilled in splinting andtreatment of more complex diagnoses. Our hand therapy team works closely together to foster learning with hands on training and participation in our patient care conferences to review treatment plans.

• Directing patient care
• Performing objective measures
• Supervising with active participation of COTAs and non-licensed providers
• Supervising patient progress and re-evaluate appropriately
• Overseeing and assurance clinical protocols are followed
• Coordinating with physicians and other practitioners for patient issues

• Graduate from an accredited PT/OT program
• Licensed in the state of California
• CHT or CHT eligible
