Job summary

Golden State Orthopedics & Spine seeks a Full-Time Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to join the hand therapy team in California. You will work with referring physicians and learn from senior therapists, with emphasis on splinting and complex diagnoses.

You will perform evaluations and treatments, supervise COTAs, and ensure treatment plans align with clinical protocols in collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PT/OT program.
• Licensure in California as a PT/OT professional.

Responsibilities

• Perform Occupational Therapy Evaluations.
• Perform Occupational Therapy Treatments.
• Direct patient care and supervision of COTAs and non-licensed providers.
• Take objective measures and monitor patient progress.
• Coordinate with physicians and other practitioners for patient issues.

About the Role

• We are looking for a Full Time Certified Hand Therapist to join our team. As part of our hand therapy team, you will work closely with our referring Physicians and learn from our highly trained therapists. Our senior CHT's are skilled in splinting andtreatment of more complex diagnoses. Our hand therapy team works closely together to foster learning with hands on training and participation in our patient care conferences to review treatment plans.

What You'll Do

• Performing Occupational Therapy Evaluations
• Performing Occupational Therapy Treatments
• Directing patient care
• Performing objective measures
• Supervising with active participation of COTAs and non-licensed providers
• Supervising patient progress and re-evaluate appropriately
• Overseeing and assuring clinical protocols are followedCoordinating with physicians and other practitioners for patient issues

What We're Looking For:

• Graduate from an accredited PT/OT program
• Licensed in the state of California
• CHT or CHT eligible
